About Princeton
Princeton is a very picturesque New England town with rolling hills with some nice scenic overlooks. It is home to Mt. Wachusett the highest mountain in Massachusetts east of the Connecticut River. Seasonal activities at Mt. Wachusett range from skiing and snowboarding to many summer and fall festivals held at the base of the mountain. I find the fall season especially nice at Mt. Wachusett.
Princeton is a small community with an unmistakable New England flavor. It is a quiet town that can be a repose for those of us with harried lives. Open fields with great views gives Princeton an ambiance that some towns wish they had.
Located 17 miles north of Worcester, it was once considered too rural to attract people interested in buying homes for sale in Princeton Ma, but that has changed. Princeton has seen significant growth, and property values continue to rise.
The Thomas Prince School serves the residents of Princeton with a kindergarten through 8th grade school. Princeton is also part of the Wachusett Regional School District which serves the towns of Holden, Paxton, Princeton, Rutland, and Sterling. The town is also part of the Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School District in Fitchburg.
One of the areas better wedding destinations is Harrington Farm. They offer wedding reception packages, and a great facility for corporate events. I have been there on one occasion, and thought they did an outstanding job.
